Old Business
- Eadie shared the current information available about the “Scout Cabin”. Upon the Lions Club’s discovery that the insurance policy they had on the building had been errantly canceled, they rectified the situation and the building is now insured. This brought questions as to the ownership of the building itself. (see copy of Oct. 13, 2025 Lions Club Meeting minutes - attached). It appears that some sort of legal ownership document needs to be drafted in the near future and Eadie plans to meet with representatives of the Lions Club to get this established.
New Business
- Board Members supplied updated personal information.
- Saunders sent the board into closed session at 6:20 in order to deal with the matters of filling the Head Librarian position and discussing Christmas Bonuses.
- At 6:30 the Board reconvened and by consensus approved the recommendations of the closed session.
- Laura Robey will assume the Head Librarian position as of January 2, 2026.
- Christmas Bonus checks will be distributed a.s.a.p.
- Robey shared some of her plans and goals as she takes over in 2026.
- Motion to adjourn at 6:35 p.m. by Eadie, second from Nay, motion carried.
